Irony At Its Finest

ImageOkay, so I purchased these flats today from Payless where ironically the brand was Lower East Side and the style of them just happened to be Chelsea. Why is this relevant? Well, take a guess as to who is leaving for New York tomorrow and is hitting up those exact places? If you guessed me, then you are on point my friend because you are correct! I will be boarding a plane at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning with my parents to go and visit LIM. I bought these beauties while out with my lovely mother because of the incredible price that I got them for. Seventeen bucks everyone, seventeen bucks. I know, I’m just as amazed as you are. I will find some sort of way to strut around the concrete jungle in these, mark my word. With that said, this trip to NYC is a big one. Not only our we visiting LIM but this trip will help me make my decision on what college I will be attending. So, I will be writing a very detailed post of all of my college options once I return! Due to the St. Patrick’s Day festivities, our campus tour did get changed which resulted in us having to cancel our FIT tour but don’t worry, we are visiting the campus at some point during our trip. This will be an exciting journey but I am a little nervous since college is a big decision. Therefore, I will be making a pros and cons list on the flight home.

Nail Polish and Exciting News

photo

Alright, to start this post off I would just like to take a moment to brag about the new nail polish I purchased the other day. Now I’m not one to do posts like these but this is a nail polish I’ve been eyeing for quite some time now. It was the price that made me very stand-offish. I purchased the Teddy Girl color by butter at Ulta when I was out shopping with my mom recently. Let’s be real for second, this polish did cost me about $14 but don’t get me wrong, it is well worth it! The polish went on really smoothly and didn’t take very long to dry. I’ve been looking for a nice powder pink color lately so when I saw that this brand had the color I was looking for, I jumped at the chance to try it out. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a really good nail polish.

Now for the exciting news! My lovely parents have arranged for me to visit LIM College over spring break which means I will be on my way to New York City! It’s going to be a fairly short visit but I am still so thrilled to be going! I will definitely take lots of pictures and write a post over my experience there. I can’t wait until March so stay tuned you guys!
